Quantity Prepared Feed(300 ml) + 70 ml water for flushing.

Morning feed (No 3 at 11:30 AM) generally prepared with one slice of bread, while lunch and dinner feed prepared with one chapatti/roti/Indian bread.
1. Take 300 ml of mix vegetables Dalia and heat it on frying pan till it become hot. Close the flame

4. Add 2 caps full of Ensure powder.
5. Add the mixture in feeding glass bowl and blend it with blender 2-3 times for 5-7 seconds.
6. Take big and deep bowl of appropriate size where sieve (channi) can be placed properly. Pour the blended feed from feeding glass on top of sieve to pass through it. Keep stirring the poured feed and applying pressure with help of big spoon to help it pass through sieve.
7. Take another clean feeding glass and pour the final feed from bowl to this glass. Make sure while transferring the feed there should not be any lumps or big particles added in.
8. Keep this feeding glass in serving tray. Take half a glass of luke warm water along with it. Also a washed & cleaned feeding syringe for feeding.
9. Open the PEG tube lid and attach PEG feeding syringe on top of tube. Add 20 ml of water in feeding tube and open the PEG tube lock, let water pass through slowely. When its just 10 ml water left in tube , start pouring prepared feed in the open PEG feeding syringe. Let the complete mixture pass through the tube with pressure of gravity. It may take 10-20 mins depending on the prepared feed consistency. When its about 10 ml of feed left in the feeding tube, add 10-20 ml of water 2-3 times (around 50 ml in total), so PEG tube wash and flush with clean water at the end.
10. Keep closely monitoring the bottom of feeding tube, once water reaches the bottom, close the PEG tube lock , detach feeding tube from its top and close the PEG tube lid immediately so clean water remains in PEG tube always.
